Oregon State Police are investigating the cause of a semi-truck crash that closed Oregon 58 west of Oakridge for several hours on Sunday.
Authorities say the semi-truck was traveling westbound around 3 p.m. when it went off the roadway and eventually landed on its side, blocking all lanes of Oregon 58. Read More.
Drivers ID’d in fiery Marquam Bridge crash

The northbound lanes of Interstate 5 on the Marquam Bridge were reopened for Wednesday’s morning commute after a fiery rollover crash Tuesday involving a semi-truck, officials said.
The crash was reported just after 3 p.m. Portland Fire and Rescue officials said the I-beam on the truck rolled over onto a Volkswagen, smashing it, and both vehicles caught fire. The bridge was reopened at about 5:45 a.m. Wednesday. Read More.

A semi truck hit a sedan from behind, crushing the car between the big rig and a garbage truck, Oregon State Police said.
The crash injured all three people in the car, including a woman who was trapped in the wreckage for 30 minutes. She was rushed from the crash scene to a Portland hospital by air ambulance. Read more

The driver of a commercial truck was arrested Monday night two hours after a hit-and-run crash on highway 20 in the Santiam Pass area.
Oregon State Police arrested Alvin James Ellis, 59, of Beaverton, near Salem on Highway 22 in connection with a crash that occurred Monday around 9:20 p.m.

Medford Man Dies in Southern Oregon Traffic Accident

A 71-year-old Medford man died Thursday morning when the tractor-trailer rig he was driving went off Interstate 5 north of Glendale and struck a tree.
OSP Sgt. Jeff Proulx said that Bruce Merrill was driving the 2013 Freightliner north on I-5 near milepost 83 about 11:40 a.m. when the rig crossed over the southbound lanes, traveled through a ditch, then struck a tree. Read more
